Bryant's Transport Inc. (BTI) is a certified Texas DOT Inspection Station fully licensed for Commercial vehicles. Our facility includes a full 3-Bay shop with mechanics on duty from 8am to 4pm by appointment. Give us a call to set up your Annual TX DOT Inspection at 281-462-9000

We also offer trailer inspections including the annual Visual, Internal and Pressure (VIK) inspections, the 2-Year Upper Coupler and Thickness Inspections and the 5 year Pressure Test for tanker trailers.

Are the Federal periodic inspection requirements applicable to U.S. Government trailers
operated by motor carriers engaged in interstate commerce?

A. No. - They are only applicable when State Inspections are supersceded by Federal DOT inspections.
B. Yes. - The transportation is not performed by a governmental entity but by a for-hire carrier in interstate commerce.
C. Yes. - But the State Inspection will suffice if a Federal Inspector is not available.
